It's finally here! Chef Victor Bongo brings back his infamous African Peanut Soup, and this time, in bagged format. A generational recipe passed down through 3 generations (so far), starting with its inception from Grandma Bongo in the 1940s in Africa's Congo. Refined for the modern palate and finally ready for mass public consumption in its easy to store, fun format.
Starting at $12.00 CAD for 3 servings of gourmet soup. 750ml per bag allows you to enjoy this with a friend, or throughout the week. It goes solo, or beautifully bathed over rice and chicken/lamb or fish.
This is the first time in bagged format and Chef is excited to introduce it exclusively to the GVRD, Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island residents at this time.
A dollar ($1) from every single bag purchase (even if you buy multiple) will be donated to the Bongo Foundation. The Foundation is working toward building a school (culinary and educational) in Luozi, DRC, at its existing orphanage.
