VANCOUVER, BC – April 19, 2024 – Bongo Hospitality, a distinguished culinary group headquartered in Vancouver, BC, and Tremont International Corp., an international leader in real estate development and financial investments, are delighted to announce their collaboration on a new restaurant venture in the idyllic region of Samaná, Dominican Republic.
The restaurant, christened Bongo Bistro, will be nestled within the Puerto la Palma development, an under-construction master-planned gated community just outside Santa Barbara de Samaná. This community, envisioned by Tremont International Corp. will comprise approximately 30 luxury villas and 24 apartments complete with a heli-pad, a commercially zoned area near the entrance for Bongo Bistro & Bodega, facilitating public access to the restaurant and beautiful ocean views for residents and diners alike.
Bongo Bistro is slated to open its doors in Q4 of 2025. The restaurant will be a semi-fine dining establishment, offering a global fusion menu curated by the award-winning celebrity Chef Victor Bongo. The 4,000 sq. ft. space will feature an open kitchen concept, a rooftop bar, pool-table and lounge area, stage for live entertainment, selfie-walls, a baby grand piano, and a sophisticated architectural interior design.
Adjacent to the restaurant, Bongo's Bodega, a mini-market/deli/convenience store hybrid, will cater to the community's needs, providing a one-stop-shop for residents and visitors alike.

A Letter of Intent (LOI) has been signed between Bongo Hospitality and Tremont International Corp., marking the commencement of the next phases of the project, which include creating architectural blueprints, finalizing the budget, and raising capital.
